When we met with Jessie and Tyler last year to discuss their summer wedding, they couldn’t wait to tell us about their venue. A new venue was being built north of Columbia, just outside of Macon, Missouri, called Emerson Fields. Jessie and Tyler toured the property during the construction phase and knew that it was the place where they wanted to get married. And we are so glad they made the leap of faith because Emerson Fields was absolutely beautiful.
After Jessie and Tyler’s fall engagement session, we knew we were in for a good time on their wedding day. We started off with Jessie and her bride tribe in the bridal room. This space is the perfect place for a bride to gather with her closest friends and get ready. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and a ton of natural light pouring in. I had so much fun pulling together all the pretty, little details Jessie had! It was too hard to narrow down which pictures to showcase, so there’s lots of detail shots. Everything was perfect and coordinated together so nicely. Check out their wedding stationery suite – it was gorgeous. Once the bride was ready, we did a few portraits of just her. We then checked in with the groom for a few quick pictures before the ceremony.
The weather provided lots of sun but it was also super hot. Guests took advantage of the shade the patio provided while listening to Jessie and Tyler exchange vows. I love the depth of emotion Jessie felt while pledging her love to Tyler. I think there were quite a few teary eyes amongst the guests during that moment. Before we knew it, vows were exchanged and they were married!
Following the ceremony, we explored the grounds of Emerson Fields. There are so many picture perfect spots at this venue, you can’t take a bad picture! I love the pictures of Jessie and Tyler right next to a tree line on the property. It was the perfect spot for a few photos of just the bride and groom. When we wrapped up portraits, we headed inside for the reception. Jessie took time to think through all the details of her decor and it showed. It was details upon details everywhere you looked. I could list out every detail that I loved but that would basically be all of them! After everyone was fed, the cake was cut, and toasts were made – it was time to party! Guests danced the night away and celebrated the newlyweds!
Thank you, Jessie and Tyler, for letting us be part of your wedding! We had such a wonderful time capturing all the love, laughter, and memories of your special day.
Cheers!
Piper & Justin
