Our busy April continued on with photographing Michael and Meg’s Columbia, Missouri wedding. After having such a great time with these two lovebirds during their engagement session last fall, we knew their wedding day was going to be absolutely fabulous. And Meg and Michael didn’t disappoint!
Their gorgeous wedding day began at Columbia Country Club, with both bride and groom getting ready. Even though it’s just a locker room, I love the deep blue color of the men’s lockers. They make for an elegant backdrop for the groom and his guys getting ready. Meanwhile, just down the hall Meg and her ladies were putting on the finishing touches. Which included Meg getting “iced” by her bridesmaids! That will definitely get the party started! After a few portraits of Meg, we headed outside for their first look and then some full wedding party photos. The entire group was so relaxed and ready to have fun celebrating Michael and Meg.
Once pictures were wrapped up, it was time for the outdoor ceremony. One of the things I love about Columbia Country Club is the number of different locations they offer brides and grooms. Not only do they have their fabulous ballroom and patio, they also have the perfect spot to do an outdoor ceremony. And we couldn’t have asked for better weather. The sun was shining, there was a slight breeze, and the temperature was exactly what you hope for. All of that was the ideal backdrop for Michael and Meg to share their vows and love for one another.
After the ceremony it was off to the Elm Street Ballroom in downtown Columbia. The ballroom was beautifully decorated in so many DIY touches put together by Meg. After dinner, guests were treated to a yummy and delicious dessert bar that featured the unrivaled donuts of Strange Donuts here in Columbia. To cap off the most perfect day, Meg and Michael got the dance floor jumping and took advantage of our open air photo booth – be sure to check out those pictures HERE.
Thank you, Michael and Meg, for letting us capture all the special moments of your wedding day. We had such a great time celebrating your love with your family and friends.
Cheers! Piper & Justin
