Photo of the Week: Mar. 31-Apr. 6 {Ewing Manor Engagment Photos}

Last weekend I had the opportunity to travel back to my hometown of Bloomington, Ill. to photograph an engagement session for Carrie and Ryan, I will also be photographing their wedding in June.

Here is one of my favorite photos from Carrie and Ryan’s Ewing Manor engagement photo session. I asked Ryan to dip Carrie for a photograph and this was his best attempt. The shoot was a lot of fun and both Ryan and Carrie were really easy going and were having a lot of fun with each other which I think you can see in this photo. Columbia, Mo. Photo Booth {RBHS Class of 2001}

It has been 10 years since the class of 2001 graduated from Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, Mo. and that meant it was time for a 10 year reunion. Reunion organizers decided that a photo booth would be a great way to get attendees interacting and having a fun time. The school’s colors are green and gold, so the gold background fit in perfectly with the decorations. We provided lots of props for guest to accessorize with. Props add a level of entertainment for each picture.

This photo booth may be different than most photo booths you’ve seen before. Instead of a small booth that will only hold 3 to 4 people, this booth is more of a self portrait station that allows you to get up to 10-15 people in the picture. A DLSR camera is set up with a shutter release cable, when you and your friends are ready to take a photo you simply press the button and the picture is taken by you. Add props to the photo and you’ve set the stage for some memorable pictures to happen.
