I had the opportunity to travel to my hometown of Bloomington Ill. for an engagement photo session with my friend Ryan and his fiancee Carrie. I’ve known Ryan since kindergarten so it was cool to be able to photography him with his wife to be as they start their next stage in life. We had a perfect spring day and some awesome locations for the engagement pictures. We started at Ryan’s house so we could get a couple of photos of Ryan and Carrie with their dogs, and then headed to Ewing Manor. The manor is a great location for portraits and gives you many options for scenery in one place. After Ewing Manor we headed to a small piece of property that Ryan owns to take some photos using an old corn crib to provide the background.
Ryan and Carrie were having a great time together and I think I was able to capture their fun personalities during the photo shoot. I am looking forward to photographing their wedding in June, it should be a great time. I know I am interested to see what this gold fish racing is all about that Ryan is putting together for the reception.
